Home of the Giants is, in case you didn’t know, a 2007 independent film starring Haley Joel Osment, Ryan Merriman and Danielle Panabaker.

The movie,  “a coming-of-age story told through the eyes of “Gar”, a high school journalist who covers the basketball team as it heads thoward a state championship,” has not had a proper theatrical release yet but it’s available on DVD (very limited) in Australia and South Africa, and it also had a TV premiere in Hungary.

But we will hopefully get to enjoy this movie in theaters sometime next year. Home of the Giants just got a MPAA (Motion Picture Classification and Rating program) rating:

Film: Home of the Giants.
Distributor: Screen Media Ventures, LLC
Rating: PG-13
Reason: Rated for some thematic elements, violent situations and language including drug references.

Source: The Hollywood Reporter.
