According to Entertainment Weekly, Ariel (Danielle’s character on “Grimm”) will be back in Season 2 of the show, which was recently renewed by NBC.

DRAGONS WILL BE BACK… IN SEASON 2. In no rush to immediately circle back, Kouf and Greenwalt revealed we’ll have to wait until next season to see the crazy dragon woman who escaped the explosion in the last new episode. The delay, says Kouf, was a testament to their already packed to-do list for this season. Which, in a way, makes me all the more excited about the last stretch.

No word on whether Danielle will reprise her role or not, but I sure hope so! We’ll keep you posted.

Danielle Panabaker will guest star on this season of FOX’s “Bones”. She’s currently shooting her episode.

Update: Danielle will be playing “an FBI agent assigned to work with Sweets on a case.”

Bumped about missing the premiere of ‘Girls Against Boys’ during this year’s South by Southwest? Here’s part of our exclusive coverage of the event, a Q&A with Danielle Panabaker, Nicole LaLiberte, Micheal Stahl-David and writer/director Austin Chick!

It took a while but they’re here! I finally capped Danielle’s amazing appearance in “Grimm” tonight, and I must say I fell in love with Ariel! Such a playful, sexy and kind of crazy girl/daemonfeuer. This is definitely one of Danielle’s most enjoyable roles to date. If you were not able to watch Danielle’s appearance, the episode is already available on NBC.com!

The ending also makes it seem like there’s more of Ariel coming, stay tuned!

While attending the South by Southwest Festival, I was lucky enough to meet up with Danielle Panabaker and her ‘Girls Against Boys’ co-star Michael Stahl-David. We chatted for about 20 minutes at the Driskill Hotel in Downtown Austin on March 10, 2012.

Danielle talked about why she wanted to be in the film, her character, onset/offset experiences, problems with budget and favorite scenes. She also talked about other recent projects, including ‘Piranha 3DD’, “Franklin & Bash”, “Grimm”, “Intercept” and her experience with genre films in general. It was a fun interview!

Unfortunately I was not prepared to interview Michael, but he was really nice and made some funny comments throughout the interview. Danielle was, of course, such a sweetheart. I hope you enjoy the interview!

It’s official! Danielle’s latest flick, ‘Piranha 3DD’ will hit theaters and VOD sooner rather than later. ShockTillYouDrop has confirmed with Dimension Films that the film is now slated to hit theaters on June 1st, 2012.

‘Piranha 3DD’ will be going up against ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

The flick stars Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, David Koechner, Chris Zylka and Katrina Bowden. You can watch the trailer right here.

Even better news! It seems ‘Girls Against Boys’ has found a distributor!

AUSTIN, TX – In one of the first distribution deals at the SXSW Film Festival, Anchor Bay Films today announced the company has acquired the North American rights to Austin Chick’s Girls Against Boys, the controversial thriller that opened the Midnighter’s section this past Friday. The acquisition was announced by Bill Clark, President of Anchor Bay Entertainment.

“The film is a perfect addition to our 2012 line-up,” commented Kevin Kasha, Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Anchor Bay Films. “Anchor Bay has just the audience base for it!”
“We are so excited to be the first film to sell at SXSW and very pleased that Anchor Bay will bring Girls Against Boys to theaters this year,” offered writer-director Austin Chick, speaking for producers Clay Floren and Aimee Shieh.

The female revenge killing spree thriller, written and directed by Austin Chick (XX/XY), stars Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th, The Crazies) and Nicole LaLiberte (Dinner for Schmucks, Kaboom). Panabaker plays Shae, a 21-year old student who, after a brutal sexual assault, teams up with fellow nightclub bartender – LaLiberte’s “Lu” – on a weekend of one beautifully staged execution after another.

Girls Against Boys found an early champion in Charles Ealy, Austin American Statesman, who called the movie “provocative,” “stylishly filmed” and praised Panabaker and LaLiberte’s performances as “excellent.”

Girls Against Boys is produced by Aimee Shieh and Clay Floren. The deal was negotiated by Josh Thomashow and Michele Sanchez at Anchor Bay Films and Ben Weiss at Paradigm for the film.
