Dear visitors, on January 18th, 2012, D-Panabaker.Org will go dark at 12 am MST in protest of the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and Project IP Act (PIPA). During that time, you will be directed to a black page informing you that the site has gone dark  and will not be available for a 24-hour period. The site will re-open at 12 am MTT (January 19th, 2012).

The site will remain updated during that time, and you will be able to see those updates (if any) on January 19th.

To learn more about SOPA and PIPA please visit Wikipedia. Wikipedia, along with sites like Mozilla, Word Press and TwitPic will also go dark tomorrow. Google will post a link on its home page to explain its opposition to these bills as well.

2011 is over, but we have a wonderful new year just around the corner. Danielle has 4 projects awaiting a 2012 release so far, so check back for more because we will be covering those and hopefully many… many more!

Speaking of projects, remember that update about ‘Piranha 3DD’ going DTV in the UK? Well, it’s now pretty certain that won’t be the case in the US. The producers of the film talked to Bloody-Disgusting and ShockTillYouDrop, here’s what they had to say:

Having spoke with people involved with the film, Dimension U.S. fully owns Piranha 3DD and will be the first to release it (potentially spring 2012) worldwide. Other markets will follow.

Co-writer Patrick Melton tells us that test screenings for the film have been terrific and Dimension is look at a spring U.S. release for the film.

Some say March, some say April. What will it be? Hopefully a specific release date will be announced very soon!

Great news everyone! Some of you may already know this but Danielle Panabaker has finally created an account on Twitter! So give Danielle a warm welcome and so long to all the fakers! You can now follow her @dpanabaker and if you aren’t already you can also follow us @dpanabakerorg.

Danielle herself has twitted she will be appearing in the next issue (October/November) of Complex Magazine, so keep an eye out! I will keep you posted on this of course.

Yes! It’s been exactly two years since the first day Danielle Panabaker Source opened its doors to all the Danielle Panabaker fans in the world. I’ve worked very hard to keep the site running, but if it’s all been worth it. And of course, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your help and support!

To celebrate the special occasion I’ve put up a brand new theme, it’s been a while and the site deserved a nice change. This layout features images from Danielle’s 2010 TIFF portraits. I hope you all enjoy the new, very colorful style!

Even though there’s not much going on right now I have a few gallery updates planned for this week, so be sure to come back and check those out! (BTW, a new gallery theme is on its way as well).

The gallery has a brand new layout (at last!) I was a little unsure about it, but we really needed a change so I just went with it. It features one of my favorite photoshoots: BlackBook magazine (2009). The gallery script has also been upgraded, which means there will be a few different features available. I’ll list some of them:

• You won’t have to scroll down every time you preview a series of images! It was pretty annoying and I’m glad that changed.
• Images in high resolution will be automatically resized to fit your screen’s resolution. But don’t worry, if you download the photo you will still get it in its original size.
• Once you preview a picture you won’t have to go back to the album to browse all of the pictures available in it. You can now scroll the tile line to see all of the thumbnails and preview the image you’re interested in.
• This isn’t really a script feature but you will now be able to read a short description of Danielle’s films and TV projects integrated in the gallery.

Please let me know if there is something wrong with either the gallery or the video archives, since they were both upgraded. I highly recommend using Mozilla Firefox to visit our website in general, believe me when I say this: It is faster, safer and overall better than Internet Explorer! There are a lot of cool features that you are missing (if you’re still using IE, that is), not only here bur pretty much all over the net.

Yes, it’s been a year since our very first post, back on August 2, 2009! The site was open just after the Friday the 13th hype was over, the original plans were to open before the film’s release in February but the behind the scenes work took longer than expected.

Now it’s been 365 days and 116 updates (not the best record but you know how news get scarce from time to time!) since we said hi for the first time. And I say we because even though I’m the webmaster and I do all the updates, there are lots of other people who have made this possible, including friends, other web owners and of course: YOU! Danielle Panabaker fans and loyal visitors.

I’m very thankful for all your support and amazing contributions to the site. It was a fun year, and I’ve loved every second of running Danielle Panabaker Source =)

This year was a good one for Danielle too, we got to see  her back on TV as a guest star in two great shows: Medium and Grey’s Anatomy. The Crazies opened last February with great reviews and a #3 spot. Home of the Giants was finally released on DVD and Danielle also reunited with her “Shark” co-star, James Woods, during a Family Guy episode.

But 2010 is not over yet, The Ward and Weakness will be released soon, and I’m sure you are as excited as I am! We will of course cover not only those two, but also Danielle’s future projects for as long as it is possible. I hope you stay with us for another year =)

The gallery has a brand new theme! The previous one was up for over 7 months so it was time for a change. It has very light and positive colors to help you enjoy your browsing experience and it features a pic from Danielle’s C Magazine photshoot.

As usual it was designed for Mozilla Firefox, but all of the common web browsers support the theme very well, except for Internet Explorer which refuses to support a few features (mostly small things, it doesn’t look messy nor ugly)
