While attending the South by Southwest Festival, I was lucky enough to meet up with Danielle Panabaker and her ‘Girls Against Boys’ co-star Michael Stahl-David. We chatted for about 20 minutes at the Driskill Hotel in Downtown Austin on March 10, 2012.

Danielle talked about why she wanted to be in the film, her character, onset/offset experiences, problems with budget and favorite scenes. She also talked about other recent projects, including ‘Piranha 3DD’, “Franklin & Bash”, “Grimm”, “Intercept” and her experience with genre films in general. It was a fun interview!

Unfortunately I was not prepared to interview Michael, but he was really nice and made some funny comments throughout the interview. Danielle was, of course, such a sweetheart. I hope you enjoy the interview!

I haven’t been able to update the site as often as I usually do lately, so here’s the latest scoop on Danielle’s projects:

• Chase: Season 1, Episode 9 – Crazy Love – Danielle Panabaker will guest star TOMORROW, November 22nd! Be sure to catch it 10/9c on NBC. One episode still has been added to the gallery.
• The Shunning – Danielle Panabaker is currently filming Hallmark’s The Shunning, three new on location photos were added to the gallery. The movie is aiming for an April 30th, 2011 release date.
• The Ward – John Carpenter’s The Ward will be playing at the Torino Film Festival on November 28th. The film is set to be released in UK cinemas on January 21, 2011! US release date is yet to be announced.

BONUS: One new Friday the 13th still has been added to the gallery.

The Ward debuted earlier today at the Sitges International Film Festival. Let’s hope it gets a distribution deal this time! I will be posting new reviews as soon as they become available.

I’ve also (at last!) uploaded The Crazies HD theatrical trailer #1 released earlier this month, it is available for download in terrifying 720p High Definition so be sure to get it as well if you haven’t done so.

I’ve added four new outtakes from Danielle’s BlackBook Magazine photoshoot (February 2009). Danielle looks beautiful! She was photographed with her ‘Friday the 13th’ co-star Jared Padalecki.

I’ve finally updated the gallery with screencaps from the ‘Friday the 13th’ DVD Special Features and DVD Menus. There is nothing big featuring Danielle but she does make some small comments and some bts material is shown as well. Remember ‘Friday the 13th’ is now available on DVD and Bluray, go get your copy asap if you don’t already have one!

I’ve added 3 clips from Danielle’s performance in Friday the 13th (2009). Danielle’s role is Jenna, the nice girl among a group of college kids up for an all-thrills weekend. In the movie, she helps Clay pursue what few leads he has in the search for his missing sister, Whitney, before finding out they’ve entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history – the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake, armed with a razor-sharp machete… Jason Voorhees. If you like the clips do not hesitate to buy ‘Friday the 13th’, now available on Blu Ray disc and DVD. All the clips are zipped and are available for direct download for quality purposes. They’re not too spoilerish but proceed with caution if you don’t want to know more before watching the whole film!
